Does the Ram ProMaster EV Have Apple CarPlay?

Yes. Apple lists the Ram ProMaster EV as a CarPlay-compatible vehicle for model years 2024 to 2025, on its official list of available models (checked September 15, 2026). Two things that list does not tell you: whether CarPlay is standard or optional on your trim, and whether it is wired or wireless. Both take a minute to check, and both matter if you are adding an accessory.

Ram ProMaster EV CarPlay by model year

Apple lists the ProMaster EV by year range, so the year of your car is the first thing to check. A 2023 Ram ProMaster EV is not on the list; the ProMaster EV first appears for 2024. Ram models start appearing on Apple's list in 2018, so the ProMaster EV is not the earliest; 4 Ram models appear before it. Apple's list runs to 2025 for the ProMaster EV as of September 15, 2026; a 2026 car is not on it yet.

"Not on Apple's list" is not the same as "cannot have CarPlay": a dealer software update or an aftermarket head unit can add it to an older car, and Apple's list would not show that. It means only that Apple does not list a factory CarPlay option for the ProMaster EV in that year.

What Apple's list says, and what it does not

Apple's own footnote is the caveat that applies here: CarPlay "is either standard or available as an option," and "some models may support CarPlay or car keys only in certain configurations." So a 2024 Ram ProMaster EV in a base trim may have been sold without it, and a later one may have it on every trim. The list does not distinguish wired from wireless CarPlay at all.

The one-minute check

Plug an iPhone into the car's USB port with a cable. If CarPlay appears on the screen, the car has wired CarPlay and that port is the data port. If nothing appears either way, that particular car does not have CarPlay, whatever the list says about the model.

Why wired or wireless matters

Accessories that plug into CarPlay, such as a wireless CarPlay adapter, an AI Box that adds Android apps to the screen, or a back-seat camera that shows on the screen, all use the wired CarPlay port.
